Lanterne Rouge
Well I`ve been supporting City since 1973 and I can`t remember one. 10 goals in a game in THAT Walsall game and I think I did see us lose 6-4 away at Bury once but that`s the closest I can get. The only other possibility was the Ago game v St Albans but I think that was 9-2. Never a 5-5 though.
ChippenhamRed
I was wondering when we were last involved in a game with 10 goals in 90 mins? Mansfield presumably the last game to involve 9 goals? EDIT - of course, Walsall 8-2 in 2015!

I think it might have been when Pulis (spit) was manager and was one of the few entertaining games under his management. There used to be a very conveniently placed pub right outside the away turnstiles at their ground. Apart from today the most goals I remember seeing in a City game were 5-4 v Mansfield, 8-2 v Walsall and a 9-2 cup win against a non league side (St Albans?) in the 1990s. I didn't go but I think we got hammer 7-2 at Northampton and 6-3 at Bury in the mid 80s too.

It was 7-1 at Northampton, Glyn Riley got ours IIRC. I was at the Bury one too (night match ?) and thought it was 6-4 not 6-3 but the memory ain`t what it was. italian dave
Wasn't the 7-1 at Northampton when we went bottom of Div 4? Puts 10th in the Championship into some perspective!

Wanderingred
Just had a flick through my BCFC record book and there certainly hasn't ever been a 5-5 draw in a competitive game since we joined the football league. There may have been one in a friendly or before 1901 but as far as I can see, today was our highest scoring draw in our 120 odd year history. pongo88
City beat Chichester 11 - 0 in the FA Cup in 1960 ish. Atyeo scored a few. A bit more one sided than today’s match, so perhaps not so interesting
