Orbital
Here are my unlikely predictions, including some of the players we will sign (including Fulham’s reserve RB on their promotion, a double £10m swoop on Posh and a toss up between Vorm and Krul) after the departure of Flint, Pack, Bryan and Reid: Vorm Christie Wright Baker Magnússon MaddisonBrownhill Smith ODowda Marriott Fammy Centre mid and further signings to follow. I doubt we’ll get Maddison from Norwich....

Wright, Steele, Hegeler etc etc etc....
You Do The Dziekanowski
My wish list for a starting XI next season 4-3-1-2 Bialkowski - A great keeper at this level. Shouldn’t cost too much either Pisano - Get a full summer worth of fitness behind him again and I’m sure he’ll perform the same as the start of this season. Baker/Flint - Depending on who’s a city player next season. Maggs - Really impressed with recent performances in the centre and with Baker think they could make a decent pairing. Kelly - So much more comfortable at LB at the moment. Give it time for him to adapt to the physicality and the speed of the game before thinking of playing him CB. Pack - Our team should be built around him. Deep Lying Playmaker Smith - His energy his needed in midfield. Box to Box Brownhill - He’s a CM. He has energy to play alongside Smith but has that more about him going forward. Advanced Playmaker. O’Dowda - Looked class at the start of the season, as with Pisano a full summer of training and hopefully he’d be back to his best. He can play either side and think it would be worth trying him behind the front two, he can attack either way then and allows the wing backs to get forward. Diedhou - A strong first season and if he can average the same goals/minutes ratio next season then we’ll have a 20+ goal man. Gregory - Done very well with Millwall this season. OOC I believe in July. No fee would take the ‘price tag’ pressure off him as well
Ohbasso
I’m not going to try and pick a starting line up or guess who we’ll sign but this is my thoughts on the squad for next season. I’d go 4231 and try and sign some quality attacking midfielders to play off Fam. Definitely being sold - Reid & Bryan Released - Steele, O’Niel, Golbourne, Hegelar? Keepers - New signing Fielding as backup O’Leary on loan to L1 or L2 Wollocott on loan to non league so we can recall him if we get injuries. RB Just Pisano as I see Vyner as a CB meaning we need one more, hopefully a talented youngster as I don’t think we have any coming through the youth setup. Moore won’t be ready and needs another season on loan. CB One area that I think we’re probably over crowded in - RCB - Flint, Wright, Vyner LCB - Baker, Magnússon, Kelly So as things stand we don’t need to sign another one but appreciate that there’s question marks over Flint and Baker still being here next season. LB - Magnússon and Kelly are both going to be centre backs long term in my opinion so I’d sign a first choice specialist LB. CM - Pack, Smith, Brownhill, Walsh I can see the argument for signing another one but we’d probably have to lose one to make room. Attacking Mids & Wingers O’Dowda, Eliason, Paterson. Need two more of real quality in my opinion. Fowards - Diediouh, Djuric, Taylor. If we’re going to go 4231 I’d say we only need one more preferably a fast one that can get in behind. So that makes - Keeper RB lB 2 attacking mids stricker 6 signings all for now not the future. Any youngsters I haven’t mentioned I’d try and get on loan in a league above where they are currently, I’d also still look to sign more young players for the future just not at the expense of important first team signings. Pisano and Wright over Hegeler for me. And Pato is in an ugly run of form but going into a new season I’d give him a shot from the start for sure. We’ve seen what he can do.
