ChippenhamRed
An England friendly is an infinitiely more attractive prospect for a night in front of the telly when it’s not being played at Wembley. Feels more like an event.
Guest
Good atmosphere and England traveling around county go hand in hand. Sell Wembley and go back to how it was in early 2000s
ChippenhamRed
Incidentally is there any prospect of a full international at Ashton Gate I wonder? Is it simply too small to be considered? I wonder what the minimum is - I recall the likes of St Mary’s (32k) have hosted full internationals.

TheCulturalBomb
Henderson is fine as a defender, but attacking he is useless, loves to request the ball and then either pass back or sideways. Loftus-Cheek is ace, gets the ball and looks to go forward nearly every time.

ZiderEyed
What a ******* strike that was. Like the Vardy one against Liverpool a few years ago. Technique was impeccable.

BRISTOL86
Got to be said, I wasn’t thrilled at the appointment of Southgate but you can’t fault the attacking intent he’s instilled. Rashford is going to be sending that full back for hot dogs all night.

BRISTOL86
Euro 96 was the first tournament I really remember. I remember my Dad buying me an official Euro 96 backpack on a ferry or a hovercraft back from France, randomly. I had the CD Single of 3 Lions and played it so much I thought the disc was going to break. England flags proudly hung in my windows and off the fences, waving them at anyone who walked by the house. Oh to be that excited about football again.
