On the up side at least we'll be able to avoid the RPZ and park somewhere sensible on a Friday night.

This is a good point. I think at the moment we have 13 home games on a Saturday which will now be affected by the change of the Southville RPZ operating hours......that leaves 10 home games where there are no restrictions on parking.

Surely the metro bus will get you home in a flash??

Not on a Sunday match as Metrobus doesn't run on Sundays!

There's a few more potential fixture clashes too as yet not fully resolved or settled upon.

  •  1. Millwall- it's on the Sunday. 2nd December- Bristol at home on 1st December. Did we get the official reason why that was moved yet?

Potential clashes as yet unsettled:

  • 2. Saturday 29th December we host Rotherham- Bristol Rugby scheduled to play on 28th, 29th or 30th December v Newcastle.
  • 3. Saturday 16th February we host Birmingham- Bristol Rugby scheduled to play on 15th, 16th or 17th February v Wasps.

That's about it (plus the Villa one and arguably the Blackburn one).

1. no they aren't, they are playing Leicester on the friday night

2. no clash They are playing Newcastle on Sunday

3. its TBC on the Bristol Fixtures

Very sloppy of the Premiership Rugby and BT Sport sites then- because the fixtures do indicate the Newcastle game to be the Saturday or TBC.

Surprised at the Gallagher Premiership website lack of clarity though particularly though, given it's their own competition!

The Millwall principle is the same as the Blackburn one though- someone said something on here about cables and wiring meaning you couldn't have rugby on the Friday night and football Saturday 3pm (no idea if it's true).

best to look at the Rugby clubs own website when it comes to fixtures they'll be more up to date

We've already had Friday night rugby and a Saturday 12pm football match so 3pm should be a walk in the park...

13 Jan 2017, 19:45 kick-off: Bristol v Bath, European Challenge Cup, live on BT Sport

14 Jan 2017, 12:00 kick-off: Bristol City v Cardiff City, EFL Championship

So it’s clearly a case of taking turns to prioritise the football and rugby fixture changes. That’s fair enough.

It's utter nonsense.  There have been games on Friday nights and Saturdays before.
