Narrowing the pitch, and keeping it narrow when playing wingers, defending very narrow? Not closing down crossers? Inviting balls into the box? It's like we're relying on Flint's ghost in the 6 yard box. Get men behind the ball and close down aggressively in and around our box ffs. Watkins was (per Norwich fans) utter dog. Today he was dog. Do we never learn? How can LJ see what's happened with Diony, go for a player with the same reputation (Ashton technically), but then sign off on that transfer?
