sephjnr
Shrewsbury, Swindon and AFCW all vacated their managers, and Harry Kewell has just been given the boot at Notts County. When was the last time that level of bloodshed happened?
Red7
Interesting question. Am sure somebody on here can get the stats. Would have thought that there'd be peaks and troughs, depending on the month of the season. But it would be good to see a breakdown if such a thing exists. Guest
Thank god our owner takes a more sensible long term approach with managers these days.

Show Me The Money!
If your thinking of axing the manager then now seems quite a sensible time to do it as gives whoever comes in to replace them a month to assess the squad and see what's needed in January to survive the season. HINT HINT!!!!!!!!!!

Taz
International break (again!!) so no surprise really. Also if clubs are thinking of changing things, then its a good time to wield the axe - Get the replacement in, few games to assess the squad they inherit, then they get the January window to buy and sell. There will probably be a few more by the end of the week as well for the same reason.

When was the last time that level of bloodshed happened? Phil Brown left Swindon on Sunday apparently.....but this managerial merry go round this season is quite comical, as this scenario demonstrates:- Paul Hurst left Shrewsbury to go to Ipswich - sacked John Askey left Macclesfield Town to go to Shrewsbury - sacked Mark Yates left Solihull Moors to go to Macclesfield Town - sacked What a torrid triangle! There is speculation that all three could just quietly return to their former jobs as though nothing has happened!
