Last year New Years Day 5 -0 defeat at Villa, a 3-0 defeat to Prem Watfoord in the FA Cup and a 0-1 home defeat too Norwich after a creditable 2-1 defeat at Man City. This year 0-2 away win at Stoke breaking various longstanding records, 1-0 FA Cup win against Prem Huddersfield and a 2-1 home win without the distraction of the League Cup. Oh and for good measure, our deadlocked January loan signing has already had more success than the last one. For those looking for year on year improvement there are some good signs there.
