This is bound to annoy the Fewers. Doubtless this game will appeal to a lot of kids and will be giving their folks grief about going, and with prices this pocket-money friendly, they'll be hard pushed to say 'no'.

Hopefully the club push the boat out and make the fan village extra special so that part time/occasional supporters or those who don't have going to football on their radar experience something special and come back for a league game.

I remember this one (12 years ago) at Ashton Gate - nearly 19k turned up - Joe Hart & Theo Walcott played:

And, of course, Michael Mancienne, who would/should have joined us.

A quite wonderful player in his youth; 'shenanigans' between Chelsea and Wolves scuppered our deal, and then he seemed to lose it in Germany with Hamburg before coming back to England with Forest.

You think we need to improve the Fan village to impress visiting Gas youngsters..?!

If they leave the ground dry, without food poisoning and having not had to watch Debbie from Nottingham discretely fingering herself, they will think it’s in a whole different league..!

Asking for a friend.
