KBEES_
I find the middle-aged man fan can be every bit as loud as their younger contemporaries and one thing I do notice is these older fans keep the youngsters in check. Often preventing daft behavior.

I Then heard a lot of noise and a group of Leeds fans appeared from the park chanting their Leeds songs etc, about 15 -20 in total with a police escort c/w police dogs. They were mostly middle aged. As expected the locals took umbrage to this and the usual jumping up and down on the spot took place followed by various well worn insults to each other took place, numerous pies etc were hurled at the group. All over in a flash no one hurt except a city fan being bitten by a police dog and bitterly complaining to the old bill. Not sure if he had just cause to complain it looked to me as if he was well involved in the dance. What struck me were the ages of people involved almost all middle aged. What on earth do people of this age get from this lark. At such an age most men have kids, responsibilities and should have learned a thing or two. If they only knew it, they make themselves look complete tools. Beyond me why. Anyway no harm done other than serious harm to a pie or two and my elderly downs friend being scared shitless. Well done old timers hope your proud. I know. My daughter who is 11 and a season ticket holder of 3 years has been put off since the Swansea nonsense. Her anxiety is under control usually now but this has really set her back...

They told me that some of old school Leeds were complaining about the conduct or I dunno nonsense at least of the youth (when I say the youth, I mean the element who get involved in this nonsense). let's say. How times change.
