Todays result was equally disappointing too. All in all it has been a disappointing day... Edit: I’m pretty sure it started with Steven Gerrard when Liverpool were going for the title a few seasons ago. As Liverpool failed that season, it’s odd that the phrase has caught on. It's definitely up there with 'Job for Cotts' which has been flogged to death and is also God awful. As a supporter I know I expect City to 'go again' as long as there is a Mathematical chance. I remember John Ward taking over and needing 5 wins out of six to make the play offs.
