Never to the dark side
Graham Scott might be his debut for us, and james linington for Charlton. Last season we had two away wins and one away defeat from him
OneTeamInBristol
Can't wait for him to be worse than Championship ref's and we all stop complaining about the standard in our league

Admin phantom Posted October 16, 2019 Admin Report Share Posted October 16, 2019 On 15/10/2019 at 12:50, Rudolf Hucker said: James Linington is an awful ref. Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer has been handed a three-match touchline ban. It means he will be forced to sit in the stands for the Addicks' trip to Bristol City next week, and he has also been served with a £4,000 fine. The FA had charged Bowyer with improper conduct and/or questioning the integrity of a match official after Charlton's defeat to Swansea City earlier this month. Referee James Linington will not officiate a match in the Championship this weekend after sending off Leeds United's Gaetano Berardi against Millwall. That erroneous decision was overturned by the Football Association on appeal, after the Swiss defender was dismissed just 16 minutes into Leeds' 2-1 defeat against Millwall prior to the international break. As a result, it has now been announced that Linington will not take charge of a match in the Championship this weekend - but will make his return during Bristol City's clash with Charlton Athletic next week. His next match is the clash between the Robins and the Addicks on Wednesday October 23, where he will be under the microscope after his high-profile error last time out. Graham Scott is the man in the middle for City's hosting of Luton Town this weekend, with Neil Davies and Derek Eaton serving as his assistants for the clash. For the clash with Charlton next week, Linington will be assisted by Steven Meredith and Robert Merchant, with Kevin Johnson acting as the fourth official for the match. A Horse With No Name
I reckon Linington will be very reluctant to issue any red cards in his first game back, after that experience. Players might be tempted to push him to see how far he will go.
