City worst eleven

I've not necessarily identified positions (other than Def, Mf etc) so apologies for not specifiying a position.

Gk - Marinovic

D - Nicky Hunt

D - Gus Ceasar

D - Sean Dyche (Decent player but not for us for whatever reason)

D - Brian Mitchell

Mid - Martin Kuhl - seriously never understood the love in. Turning circle of the Ark Royal combined with the distribution of a dyslexic postman.

Mid - Tony Dinning

Mid - Gary Stanley

Mid - Martyn Woolford

F - Tony Caldwell

F - Bas Savage (had heart but nothing else and that wasn't enough)!

My worst 11 (4 4 2) would be;

GK. Mike Hooper. Played 1 game, badly, but left an idelible impression.

RB. Brian "mad dog " Mitchell. Struggled with positional sense and passing to a team mate.

LB.Alan Hay. A full back who could not tackle and had no pace.

CB. Julian Marshall. Highly acclaimed defender signed from . . . Hereford. Gulp!

CB. Julian Watts. Not nicknamed 40 watts for no reason. His performances didn't light up the room.

RMF. Jody Morris. A bit like a Morris Minor at Silverstone - completely out of place.

CMF. Glen Penyfather. Unusual name, a bit like his playing style.

CMF. Dave Martin. (CMF= central midfield fouler)

LMF. Phil Barber. Had his best games for Charlton.

FW. Ian Baird. Prolific at something, but not sure what.

FW. Lois Diony. I have not seen anyone so out of place on a football pitch. He couldn't trap wind. About as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle.

I've made some rules for myself here and limited myself to players that either played at least ten games or were a significant signing at the time. Also limited it to post-1990.

GK: Fabian Giefer - Much hyped, offered little

RB: I have to say Nicky Hunt but Gerard Lavin is bloody lucky there is a worse right back

CB: Damion Stewart - just poor.

CB: David Partridge - poor performances and legal trouble

LB: Ricky Foster - more a right back but we've not had that many awful left backs and

RM: Jamal Campbell-Rice. I think I am being harsh here but he personified the late GJ era of signing players without a clear plan and them underwhelming as a result.

CM: Jody Morris - to put it mildly, he didn't deliver for us.

CM:Brian Howard - I was quite excited about him signing and thought we had picked up a bit of a gem. SPOILER ALERT: I was wrong.

LM: Danny Rose. Obviously he wasn't that terrible but I've picked him for the level he gave us compared to his actual ability.

CF: Bas Savage - sort of had to pick him

CF: Lois Diony - again much hyped, terrible player

From since I’ve started watching

James (not the worst keeper we’ve had but such a disappointment after all the hype of his signing)

Hunt

McManus

Mcgivern

Foster

Kilkenny

Morris

Howard

Barnett

Diony

Engvall

With SOD as manager

Little > Hunt?

That’s a pretty decent selection, though I’d replace Martin Kuhl with Neil Kilkenny.

You’ve confused me....are you saying Litts should be in worst team?

I thought the poster was saying Hunt as in Jack Hunt, because it was the first name so I assumed it was a right back.

As in "You think Little is better than Jack Hunt?"
