Guest
We have seen far better players at Ashton Gate. So I'm not one bit interested.
BarneyCity
Ain't heard it for years, but it was good - how about that old song referencing a players resemblence to various parts of a horses anatomy Wayne Rooney, Wayne Rooney He looks like a horses ar** He smells like a horses ar*** He is a horses ar** Plus of course the rest of it !!!! Now that would make me smile to hear that again, can't be there tonight as in grim Manc, but like to hear that on the telly!
Sturny
I don’t think anyone will give a fudge if we boo or clap him tbh I’m sure people have their reasons to like or dislike him.

nickolas
So, what we thinking?! Thought he was ok, they were so obvious playing everything through him. However, what a self obsessed moaning ####er! Spent the entire game moaning at the referee. Billy big bollox didnt get what he wanted tonight. Bas's perfect hattrick
Constantly trying to pull off those Hollywood passes. Some came off and looked good but he gave the ball away a lot

He was outstanding - easily the best player on the pitch. And I say that as someone who has criticised him plenty over the years
Northern Red
Thought we showed him too much respect for the first half hour, sat off him and let him pick passes at will.

Lez
Thought he was the best player on the pitch. Cant run.....but just sat deep in pockets and dictated everything derby did. His intricate passing and crossing was generally top notch.

He reminded me a lot of Gazza, who I saw playing for Boro in the twilight of his career against Palace at Selhurst Park (I lived in Croydon at the time). You could just see his quality shining through, even though he was getting on a bit and overweight.

Port Said Red
That was the strangest position I think I have ever seen any body play in, He wasn’t in front of the back 4 he was somewhere behind the left back!

I thought you meant killer through balls etc. Elliason obviously has mainly from crosses which I suppose is the same thing.

TheCulturalBomb
Movement and general passing is as it should be for one of England's best ever but agree with above some very 'Hollywood passes' that frankly most players could produce. ScottishRed
At his stage of his career, and he is still talented, LJ should have put someone on him all game.
Lanterne Rouge
Thank God they didn`t get the penalty. I swear Parry & Hendrie would have exploded if he`d scored it.
Lordofthebling
Luxury player, who wants the Stevie G quarterback role for his final payday. We didn't put anyone on him, but in the end, not sure we needed to.

handballbygordonparr
Though Rooney was very god at times but still chuckling at the Parry love in - "cleverly won throw in" on 92 mins when Rowe cut out his pass.
Lez
He didnt look a goalscoring threat in any way shape or form. What he did do was pick out midfield runners in the box with ease.....something tou rarely see at this level and showed his class. Thought derby looked decent going forward but ropey defensively. SuperDziek
If he played any deeper, he’d have been in goal.
