I'm sure City are clear about the type of man they want and will do their due diligence. But whoever is appointed, and we all have our favourites, we know that its a gamble. In the past we've appointed managers with experience with mixed results (Ward, Lennartson, Wilson, Cotterill), and the same can be said for those with little or no experience (Cooper, Jordan, Osman, Dicks). At the end of the day none of us can control the process or the final appointment. We can only hope that whoever it is brings us the success we crave.
