I don’t know JMC as a coach but he comes across as captain obvious in all the interviews, says nothing insightful at all and I always felt he only got the opportunity because of LJ. I don’t know enough about Ashley Williams but at least he’s played a long time at the highest level, and played under some top managers/coaches I suppose but it really is an inexperienced group. Yes, it’s definitely a risk. But I saw enough in those 5 games to think it might be ok. I think Williams is a very sensible appointment in the scheme of things....Macca is an SL / City man. I don’t think he wanted another of that type, e.g. Skuse’s name mentioned. That would leave 2 SL / City men versus him. With Williams he adds something from outside the group.
