CHIPLEY RED
At the grand old age of 55 I have only known City in the top flight for 4 seasons. In fact in 100 years we have only been in the top flight for 4 seasons. We are, at our best, a top half championship team and always have been. Steve Lansdown has developed the club, the ground and the infrastructure. He supports the club and is not looking for it to provide a profit like so many other owners. I'd love to see us back in the top flight but i'm glad that we are (I think) financially stable thanks to a generous owner. Does he get everything right - no but i'd rather have Steve Lansdown than the many owners of other clubs. Be careful what you wish for if you want Lansdown out, we could end up like the Rovers with the richest owner in the land who invested nothing in the club. About time we stopped using 1982 as the benchmark.
