GrahamC
Pretty much the only 2 of the many we have out on loan who are playing regularly & (Palmer aside, who is another story) at the highest standard of them, though Watkins did play every game for Aberdeen up until his injury. Pring has been in & out at Portsmouth, Morton hasn’t featured that much at all at Grimsby, Edwards has done so a bit more there & Janneh is often a sub at Newport, young Webb who also went there, hasn’t played at all, whilst Cundy has got back in at Cambridge after a spell as a sub. Nurse at Walsall is presumably injured, as he hasn’t played in a month. So, with so many out injured & the 9 man subs bench often featuring youngsters who would have been behind them in the queue is there a value in bringing one of these 2 back? Smith may have only scored once for Swindon but he has played 12 times, so is he worth a look from our bench? Or maybe Adelakun, who has scored a couple of goals for Hull & who are top? Phileas Fogg
I think if we want to look into alternative formations (especially options with wide players) it makes sense to look at bringing one or both back in January. I think Adelakun is probably the most likely, but it's pointless for him to come back if he's just going to be an option off the bench.
