Click the above link to listen live at 11 as we dissect last night's game at Kenilworth Road and expound the view that whilst injuries aren't helping the situation we appear devoid of any pattern of play.

2020 is going to be a year to forget but we declare this season a write off and one where a top half finish would be an achievement: take out our sprint start and it is now 21 points from 18 games.

It really has gone downhill since DEC 30 2017.

We'll be commenting on some of the topics on OTIB this morning.

[Recording will be uploaded to Apple Podcasts & Spotify later today]

I think it was Ian who bemoaned his enjoyment of TV games being spoiled by the camera constantly cutting away from the action to focus on Dean Holden and his reactions.

Another bugbear of the modern game for me - the cult of the manager/coach.

Gone is the low ceilinged dugout with the manager hidden away from view for the duration, replaced by a huge area of open seating for his small army of sidekicks and a massive technical area where he strides about alone, in full view, gesticulating and shouting.

Basically being made the centre of attention, his every emotion tracked, with the pitch quite possibly being reduced in width in some cases to accommodate him.

Get rid of this cult of the manager and these outsized and annoying 'technical' areas!
