The sad reality is that until the premier league rein in their spending it has a knock on effect. Sky and that numpty Jim White are already banging the drum about deadline day, oblivious to what is actually happening lower down the leagues. If that is true though then there aren't many non-parachute clubs with a larger negative spend than us. Many of the clubs above barely have a negative net spend, and most are nowhere near ours. That’s why my table starts at the end of 15/16 season: 1) to cover Championship for consistency 2) to show a clear demarcation from SOD/Burt, Cotts/Burt and Ashton.
