The charmless Spaniard - by any measure the worst manager in living memory at St Andrew's – and boy there is some competition for that title - felt compelled to respond. He had been asked whether he would resign in his own post-match interview. To which he had given a glib 'No chance' as a reply. True to form, he said he felt like he should have been given another couple of weeks, fired a parting shot in the direction of the players – and out he went.
