oldstandrobin
Hi, met the great great grand-daughter of Thomas who played for us in 1897/1898. Anyone know where I could possibly find more about him to pass on to her. He was capped once for Scotland. Started off at Rangers, then Everton, Liverpool and Bury before joining us. I do have the Bristol City 'Remember when' newspaper collection but only goes back to 1908.
BS2 Red
I'm sure you've looked, but there's a photo on Wikipedia but very little information. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Wyllie There's a little bit more on this website: https://playupliverpool.com/1943/07/28/thomas-graham-wyllie-thomas-wyllie-playupliverpool-com/ There doesn't seem to be much about him from a quick Google search though. Maybe there'd be more in Rangers/Liverpool books that cover his era?

PollokFan
With apologies for bumping an old topic - I came across this during a Google search. Thomas is buried in Glasgow's Cardonald Cemetery, along with his wife and son. I visited his grave earlier in the week - the headstone is still in pretty good condition.
