Leader

We are in desperate need of a leader and captain on the pitch.

Kalas today made a forgivable mistake on the penalty but failed to bollock his team mates for performing at the level they were - which is unforgivable. His reaction to the Rowe mistake was to just sigh and turn back to the centre. He fails to motivate or scare his team mates into performing well.

He can moan all he likes about social media anger, but his attitude as a captain leaves a lot to be desired imo. Especially for an £8m player.

Tinnion said it a while ago on Robins TV, Kalas isn't the captain who will bollock/gee up/motivate players, he's a leader through his performances. However when nearly all the team are performing badly its hard to lead through this way. You can't always recruit leadership as someone may just emerge as a leader in a particular group of players, put them in a new environment and they may not be the same. This squad needs to be challenged and asked who wants to step up and lead them from within, perhaps more activities as a squad which encourage leadership qualities.
