CHIPLEY RED
I not sure if this thread is fair on Dean Holden. At the end of his short stay at City he struggled but we haven't seen a massive improvement since the appointment of Nigel Pearson. Dean's record was played 41 won 18 drawn 5 lost 18 which would suggest mid table - not too bad and certainly nothing to suggest he couldn't get another championship job. He didn’t have the experience or man management skills to motivate the players Pearson obviously had some sort of effect on arrival but I think the players went on holiday after then, thinking they were safe from relegation Many OOC and possibly knowing they are leaving won’t have helped I fully expect NP to be able to sort all this once appointed permanently

Where was this pearl 9 months ago? Could have saved us an awful lot of trouble. He's presumably pretty cheap, and desperate, and perhaps with a decent backroom and maybe a different CEO/DOF could keep a team going.
