VdGG another band that I love though. Especially the stuff pre- Hammill solo. Up to 1972 Although my fav track is probably La Rossa, from 75, 76 ish. Saw them a few times - at the Colston they played for 3.5 hours doing a full version of Meurglys 3 - - for old times sake I am going to see them in Bath next year - strange band most of my mates love all sorts of music and we gig and festival often but no-one would come to see VDGG with me

An amazing, unique and briliant band. All the musicianship is amazing on those records, but OMFG the VOCALS.
