So what exactly has been done Martyn and how long is long-term? Utter bollocks if you ask me The long term plan was to wait for Bath tp get planning permission and Twerton upgraded then steal that
Lanterne Rouge
One of them actually says that they want to send Sunderland fans home amazed at the noise from the home support. I presume he means amazed at the fact there wasn`t any - unless of course, the Mackems score a couple early in which case they`ll turn on their own team and that could be loud I suppose.

As I’ve said before, I lived near the Mem for years and it’s nothing like the cauldron of noise they try to make out it is. In fact it was very difficult to know when they were playing.
View from the Dolman
Ooooh. A big screen update. "The club purchased the new 30sqm screen in July last year from Stadia Solutions, a leading international sports and entertainment agency that specialises in fully managed technology and media platforms". It's obviously been sabotaged by one of them 'teds...
Guest
Bristol Rovers are happy to announce that the club’s new pitchside big screen will be installed and operational in time for the club’s home game against Bradford City on Saturday, April 13th. The club purchased the new 30sqm screen in July last year from Stadia Solutions, a leading international sports and entertainment agency that specialises in fully managed technology and media platforms, with the aim of having the screen installed next to the Brunel sponsored South Stand by the end of 2018. Although the screen was delivered on time in October, due to its size a special bespoke support structure was required to attach the screen to the current steelworks at the stadium. Unfortunately, the unique nature of this structure led to various complications with Stadia Solutions’ sub-contractor, resulting in subsequent delays with installation. This issue has now been resolved, with Stadia Solutions apologising to fans for the inconvenience caused and compensating both the club and screen sponsor for the delay. Commercial Director, Tom Gorringe, stated, ‘As the fans are all very well aware, we have been waiting for a new big screen for quite some time now. I am happy and relieved, that a solution for the frame for the screen has finally been found and it will be installed in time for what is looking like a very exciting and crucial end to the season.’ The new screen will provide fans with an improved matchday experience by enabling the club to actively communicate, engage and share content with fans, in addition to increasing matchday revenues through sponsors and advertising. Tom, went on to say, ‘We’d like to thank supporters for their continued patience and we look forward to seeing you all at the Mem tomorrow for our match with Sunderland!’. Takes 6 weeks to install a frame?? Seriously "finally been found"?? Scrap yard? "exciting and crucial end to the season"? Possible relegation to the league above non-league - brilliant. Unfortunately, we have very little steelwork at the Mem, preferring wooden rather than metal tent poles. Thus we have purchased a TV stand in Currys which should do the job. Midlands Robin
In a similar time frame it took those clowns to buy a tv and install it (July 2018 to April 2019) we managed to pull down an entire stand and rebuild it. (East End demolished July 2014 and South Stand Complete May 2015). I know they say "these things take time" up in Sag Land but using their Tele as a reference it should take them about 150 years to redevelop their ground. 5

BCFC11
So they purchase a ‘big screen’ and I have no doubts whatsoever that whoever’s job it is at that poxy little outfit to oversee it being installed took delivery, unboxed his new play thing, plugged it in to make sure it was working ok, only after sending Cockman down the shop with next seasons budget (£10) to top up the electric card, after getting all excited as Babestation beamed across Chernobyl he suddenly realised he forgot to order the pissing frame to put it on and in true Sag fashion today’s statement sums them up perfectly with the ‘let’s blame everyone, but ourselves’ One thing they will having going for them is it’ll look great in League 2, especially as every goal we concede flashes up on the screen alongside some half naked bird waving her phone at the camera. Bar BS3
Who’d have thought that screws don’t work effectively on canvas..?! Does the new frame class as their first permanent structural improvement to their stadium in the last half century, or is it just a bit of metal on wheels, to keep in character with its surroundings..? BanburyRed
Has it been correctly risk assessed in order to get a safety certificate? And that it complies with all relevant H&S guidelines incl best height for viewing, viewing angle, optimum volume levels etc? Probably not. Port Said Red
I hope the screen is waterproof. They will probably have an extra bit of plastic sheeting over the top just in case.

Not sure on the size other than 'twice the size of the indoor screen in the bar' but found the article from 16th September when they first came over: https://www.bristolbearsrugby.com/news/big-screens-arrive-at-ashton-gate/ Found it quite funny that ours also had to be housed in a 'bespoke structure' - took two weeks to sort and install as we got the engineers who created it over from Korea rather than asking Frank from round the corner to try and fit them for us: 1
