HoldenBall
Good result for the pikeys, but still unable to sell out their away end and could still end up 5th if Sutton win, all in the basement division.. FTG

Doesn’t matter how in form they are if Port Vale and/or Northampton match their results ! Still out of their hands fortunately.

The 2 young centre backs are being scouted by teams higher up the pyramid for starters. Haven’t they got those two young centre backs on loan though? From Cardiff and Stoke? So they aren’t their own players anyway? I could be wrong ...
TheReds
If they hadn't had the Newcastle player on loan they wouldn't even be in the picture for promotion from League 2. So if they do manage to go up, and without him next season, they will certainly struggle imo. I suppose at least they will be in their shiny new stadium by then as that must be opening soon.... myol'man
Oh no, they are coming for us! Hang on a minute, they'll still be a division below us even if they go up mind the gap 22 years and counting

The catalyst for their improvement appears to have been Elliott Anderson from Newcastle. There is no way he’s going on loan to L1 next year, and if they do it’s more likely to be one of the big boys at that level such as a Weds or (yes) Ipswich. The loanee from Stoke (Connor Taylor) has been again getting great reviews. Can easily see Stoke trying to ease him into their squad next year. I also think they’ve got at least one more. But replacing two key players is not going to be easy.
