luke_bristol
Rovers were always likely to struggle this year against teams with the budgets and history of Ipswich, Sheffield Wednesday, and Accrington Stanley. 1

Already have done pal. I take your point though. In my defence, I was watching the rugby too, that was a belting game. Engvall’s Splinter
From what I can gather they were incredibly reliant on the lad Anderson from Newcastle last year. More him than Barton it would seem.

Lanterne Rouge
Fair play to the plucky ex non leaguers. Only narrowly beaten by an established Leage One side. 7

I mean I know the sags will say they are only 11 points off the play offs but much like last season they need to get it right in January or it's a trip back down to league two. Gazred
Having watched most of that it's clear where Rover's problems lie...nearly all the players are not good enough for L1. They've got big problems and only 10 games in.
WessexPest
Their one good result this season has come against the team anchored to the bottom of the table - looking forward to seeing what the likes of Sheff W, Bolton and Derby do to this awful team. Surely that was taken out of context. It's not as though he's been critical of other teams managers, like 2nd place Portsmouth or 9th placed Shrewsbury, is it..?! GrahamC
They’re in huge trouble, they have already played FGR, Morecambe & Accrington at home & managed just 1 point from those 3 games. When they play the likes of Ipswich or Barnsley they are totally outclassed. Barton has won 5 drawn 4 & lost 18 L1 games as their manager, he’s also a delusional narcissist with a chairman prepared to indulge him. I ******* love it, I think they’re on their way back to L2.
