Either way it’s good that a proper established community pub exists around there. Never understood what used to happen with the S&D opening and closing all the time - could be (and has been) a great pub. Best pub up there is definitely the Oxford though these days. Somebody broke in when, the building work was going on, and sprayed on the wall. You will never take this pub, from all those who sailed on the good ship cumberland! One of the funniest things ive ever seen in the groves, people were buying him drinks allnight if he stood on a stool and sang rod stewart songs.
