everreddy
In today’s “Sunday Times”, Alyson Rudd describes Arsenal’s demise against Brentford: ”They lack a clear identity, they lack leadership, they lack ruthlessness, they lack palpable camaraderie…” She could be describing City. Merrick's Marvels
Not sure about that. Certainly don't think we lack camaraderie - where's the evidence for that? Identity will come when Pearson's had the time to mould his own team. Would agree we lack leadership but, again, that will come when Pearson has been able to introduce players in his own image, rather than ones brought here by Johnson or Ashton. Imo, what we lack is enough quality and also the right blend of players in the forward positions. The latter more so than the former.

Waconda
Just now, Pezo said: We lack strength and control as well. Some would say our team needs to be coached and organised better also.

Hampshire Red
i dont like this post, very general and could apply to half the teams in the four divisions. Dont think it applies to City either - would you really say Pearson lacks ruthlessness or the team looked as though they didnt have good spirit for the first 93 mins v Blackpool. Sorry, cant agree with this
Red_Alligator
This is about Arsenal - whose "problems" most other football clubs would look at with cautious envy. Every club faces it's own challenges relative to a myriad of factors, some of which are specific to that club alone. Our club is no exception. We're in a situation of our own making due to a long period of incompetent trading in the transfer market, but share issues with other clubs due to FFP, Covid etc. At the same time many other clubs would love to have a billionaire owner. You don't have to be Einstein to know it's all relative.
