Setting the early pace in league 2which is good to see. Let’s not mention the cup upset.

Anyone know if they have any decent youngsters we’d likely be keeping an eye on?

Matt,  the big lad up front they signed from Newport always reminds me of a Warnock type player.

Big, strong and a fine set of elbows!

Ebou Adams is one who could make a step up to the Championship. Godwin-Malife (injured) and Cadden maybe. Certainly worth keeping an eye on TNL.

Nine points above the Gas after 4 games. That's got to hurt, especially Aaron Collins who left FGR to join Joey's circus. :)

For a team top of the division 1,900 is a poor attendance.

The town FGR are based in has a population of less than 6,000. City's attendences must be awful if they fall below about 150,000, okay, maybe 100,000 as we aren't top of the division.

Think it would be reasonable to add Stroud (population 32,000) to their catchment area, but you’re right, it is a tiny place with no real football history.

They do pay high wages compared to their crowds thanks to Dale Vince but nothing like what Wrexham or Salford are doing.

Up the vegans!

To be honest, it's slightly less embarrassing knowing our second XI lost to a decent lower league side than if someone completely shyte like the Gas had beaten them.

Thought the population of Stroud was over 100,000 including stonehouse.

Okay, fair enough. But their crowds seem to be pretty much in line with expectations for the catchment area. Do you support a local rival team?
