Nope cos he’s not on the bench, late replacement. All the subs tonight are related to knocks…

Ahh fair enough about Wells then. Not a great night with injuries all round then. Such a winnable game seemingly chucked away though.

Martin was the weak link. Slowing everything down in the attack and Bakinson is a League Two player. We must not play these two. We won't get back in game. Williams is a big loss, he was good in our last two games. Let's hope he is ok and he can recover fast as HNM. We need them both and Palmer instead of Martin and Weimann as Striker. Martin is way too slow... and can't dribble also.

Martin and Bakinson pretty poor this evening

Just can't hook it up can they? It feels as though they haven't ever played together before.

I usually try and not to be too harsh but this is honestly how it feels to me tonight.

Martin seems well off the pace. Good squad bloke but too slow, even his hold up play looks ponderous tonight. True he does take stick, but we are crying out for someone up front to carry a threat or at least have some pace to stretch the play. Bakinson at fault for losing the ball. We looked to be getting the better of the game till the pen.

You must really be enjoying watching Bakinson then.

I’d much rather watch Bakinson than COD. Maybe in the minority, especially at times like tonight when loads are singling him out but COD is a waste of a man in the team imho and never ever takes his ‘turn’ to contribute to anything. Hope he now scores and shuts me up!

Martin has been poor, again.
Bakinson just too inconsistent,  .
Weimann gone missing again.
Baker injured , again.

Not sure what Wells has to do for a start, would help the team with another runner.
Another poor day.

Yep. We always struggle against these types of workmanlike sides who are also short on quality but beat us on application. Same old story.

I don’t actually think we deserve to lose this tonight. Both Weimann and Martin were clean through and did nothing. Martin and Bakinson have watched the game pass by, Weimann hasn’t got into it at all.

Neither of them are good enough

So frustrating getting into the box with a little space, only for the player to hesitate and end up losing the ball. Anything inside the area they have to shoot surely.
