As disappointing as that result is, what is more frustrating is how we competed in the first half and probably should have been out of sight or at least more comfortable than it was. If you sit back as we did for the majority of the second half and having taken off your only attacking options you deserve the inevitable onslaught. 
It was a total Jekyll and Hyde performance. Firstly I was very impressed with Tanners tackling and general defensive work, Kalas seemed to organise well and Da Silvas best performance IMO as I’ve not been overly impressed by him so far. Baker was good but I thought he looked tired long before that stupid and desperate challenge but we don’t have options available. James was solid but didn’t see much from him for his experience in the second half. Now where I was baffled is the substitutes, I don’t agree with the taking off of our experienced striker pros that know how to use their energy(if they’re struggling) to offer us out options. This is what cost us today and whilst that is Pearson’s fault the guy knows what we need and given the time will get it right.
