We ended a run of defeats, we ended a run of games without a win at home. We have not turned the corner of performances. Two very different things. Yeh, just listened. To be fair I think there is a little more realism around, especially from the manager and the fans. Perhaps the best part of a year of pretty poor football has ground people down. I just felt there were so many similarities between this and the Huddersfield game that is was worth noting.
GBF
I came to the game with the view that the only thing that mattered on Saturday was beating Barnsley however we did it. 3 of the last 4 performances have been shockingly bad and I am hoping this has been due to low confidence levels which hopefully the win will have helped. Barnsley who are supposedly the second worse team in the League completely outplayed us in the second half and most of the first half. Although the atmosphere at the end of the game was great it could have been very different if City hadn’t scored before half time
TonyTonyTony
Sometimes a win just relieves pressure. I fancy us to get a result against Brum.
