Got, Got, NEED!

The title of this thread should be read, and repeated to the timeless classic 'Here we go, here we go' music.

And when you have done that, check your old piles of stickers, swaps and completed books.

Maybe you can find one of 200 known to exist!

Bonkers!

As Half man half biscuit sang in "This one's for now"

You’re so beige
I bet you think this song’s about someone else
Standard Liège
See how it all unfolds when I try to include you?
I’ll fit you in some day, somehow
A thousand words but not right now
I’ve got a few lines on Gerry Gow
I had three in one packet in ’78
I went back to the shop in a manner irate
Newsagent said: “Have you got a two pence piece?”
I said: “Yes”
He said: “Go and ring someone who cares”

Those early coin sets(including the Esso ones) that I have seen at boot sales etc seem to suffer from rusting problems.

Not sure how you stop them get any more rustier.

Ours aren’t rusty, the paper book is damaged though.

I have got a gold coloured rusty Leeds Utd v Arsenal FA cup coin that I found in my mum’s house, I don’t know where that came from

I have editions 1 to 21 of Razzle.

Not really fit to take to car boot sales mind.

I would check to see if those are legal, I don't know when the law changed to the girls having to be over 18 rather than over 16?

I know that having back issues of the "super soaraway S*n" from that period and earlier could be dicey.

I can recall my friend giving a sample, in about 2001.

He said the books on offer, to speed up the job were from the 70s.

Dread to think how many fingers they went through.

Anyway, that sperm bank shut down,

I asked him why, he said most men do their banking online these days...

We went through IVF and in the w**k room, as we called it, they had both mags and DVD’s although not quite as old! Slightly more off putting was the sheet covering the sofa, I’m not sure who made such a mess that they needed to introduce a sheet in the first place, although the sample pot was quite small!

Car booting the magazines, that could wok cyril.

Niche market, but somebody will take a punt.

Theres two ways of buying them.

The people who buy them openly, or the ones who slip them in a newspaper at the counter.

Maybe put some copies of the peoples friend or readers digest magazine next to them.

The discreet buyers, could work with that.

My mate found a porno dot to dot book in his Dads garage once, each dot to dot was only half finished, true story

Anyone remember these? Given that we did not have a car I cannot remember how I managed to get the complete set.

Esso F.A. Cup Centenary Medal Collection 1872-1972 100 Year Of Football: Amazon.co.uk: Esso: 3016118305125: Books

I still have this, and the World Cup ones. We never had a Car either, but I did have an uncle who had 2 daughters , he was nagged into giving them up. The coins, not the Daughters ?

Still have these too.

I’m trying to find my Premier League 92/93 sticker album (which I completed FYI) as one of the faces on one of the stickers (David Hillier) is currently helping my builder out for the next 2 weeks finishing my house extension so wanted to get a signature!

He played nearly 150 times for Arsenal with all the great players, won the league in his debut season, unfortunately he also played for Rovers, but some great stories heard already about the Tuesday Club, real nice guy!
