Same as me above, didnt go to northampton for that night game though.

That melee, certainly turned our season around,

I am right in thinking that game was live on tv?

Yep, it was live on tv, I remember watching it in a pub.

Definitely a pivotal moment in that season.

Yep, Bradley Orr and Louis have confirmed it since, their spat actually galvanised the squad and we took off from there.

A fantastic year for me. Got me foot on the property ladder in feb. March, saw an amazing gig in Manchester, Ian Brown, Noel Gallagher, Paul Weller, Charlatans, Peter Hook, all playing together !! May, met me wife (ruining my bachelor pad), top that with my beloved Bristol City won promotion. June, bagged me a Glastonbury ticket, July a lads holiday in a villa in Portugal, October, holiday with me Mrs (can remember being in a bar, full of champions league tellys and the barman gave me the little telly in the corner to watch soccer special to see the City scores, we beat Southampton 1-0 away, told him if we get promoted I’ll send him a signed city shirt, so nearly cost me £40!!)September, being a big bloke and never having ran anywhere, raised over a grand for prostate cancer for running a 5k. Very proud of meself!!
a fantastic year.
Two thousand and seven, I salute you.

2008 I broke me arm. That’s it.

Thank you for posting this. That promotion meant so so much after the years of disappointment.   Probably my favourite season as a City fan, and I remember it like it was yesterday.  That Doncaster away game when Boom Boom scored was incredible. Felt so much closer to the players and the club back then.  A different era and one I’m very very glad to have been involved with. A special time.
