Have Sky put a block on red button games being shown in pubs?

Thanks for the replys,

but I recall some one said in the past about the last game Bristol City played at Griffin Park.

They were in the Griffin pub and watched the Brentford v City game as they could not get a ticket for the game

Maybe the pub had a commercial subscription as well as a domestic home subscription, and thats what they were using.

Pretty sure that pubs haven't been supposed to be showing red button games since late 2018! Unless something changed.

VPN airways notwithstanding of course, as @phantom mentioned.

Definately now available - was in a bar in Weston recently with a QPR red button game being shown, but only became aware of this recently

BBC red button channels used to do the same, not sure if that is still the case

Some articles from the time.

URL is misleading...dunno why it references PL predictions!

Happy to look further, but that's surprising if done officially. I don't remember announced change back but I guess Covid has blurred 2 years into one in a way.

Agree I never heard it announced and only appears to be those with pub subscriptions

As a heads up the channel only seems to appear very last minute
