Very interesting. I think his arial ability is under rated, most likely due to having Fam previously who was very good .

It's a stat pimarily based on our style of play earlier in the season, a style we were able to abandon once Semenyo was fit and started hitting his straps. So it's misleading. And I'm not sure it's very informative anyway.

Second Tier's stats posts are complete shite as they never add any context for them. Example, Martin may have won the most headers in the league, but what if he's played 50% more minutes than anyone else on that list? Whose better at winning headers then? 

They did one a couple of seasons ago on defenders who play the most long balls ignoring team tactics as to why they play long balls

Interesting - I’ve never thought winning headers is his strong point, I always see his main strength as when he gets the ball at chest height or to feet to hold up.

Aerial duels won is 38.5%, which puts him just below the top 25% in the Champ, albeit he’s the top 5% for aerial duels attempted.  Data correct up to 11th March.
