I'm assuming they were short at LWB ? Otherwise an odd move, I know he did well there pre season , but it's very different and a big step up . Chelts put out a very young team - only Raglan and the utterly useless Bonds had featured so far this season, so a lot of changes. Against what was pretty much a full strength Exeter. Couple of reports from folks there last night suggest that Taylor looked like a young amateur and very very much out of his depth - but I’ll give the benefit of the doubt and suggest he had very little around him to help against a good side.
