headhunter
https://foreverbristolcity.podbean.com/e/2223-season-preview-1-with-gregor-macgregor-chris-honor/ Dave P is joined by Chris and Gregor in talking through where City are at right now on the eve of the new season. Transfer business done, contracts, who'll wear the captains armband, likely line up vs Hull and with 15% of the season passed within 33 days [30/7-31-8] what is the predicted points haul from the 7 games? Question - if Kane Wilson is injured this weekend do you select Alex Scott as RWB or play him in midfield?
GrahamC
Pretty good overall. Still no closer to pronouncing Timm’s surname correctly though (& he was never on loan, either).
Davefevs
Good to hear from Chris and Gee, and pretty positive too. Out of interest, where does your Sunderland opinion come from….you said 8th or better? No promoted league one side has finished higher than 15th in the last 4/5 seasons, first season back. I get they’re a big club, but they finished 5th last season, and haven’t exactly set the world on fire with recruitment-wise. Clarke and Dajaku were there last season too, so two new signings. There are bewilderingly few pundits thinking Sunderland will even be in the bottom third. Not sure what this is all based on, unless they think Neil improved them a lot when he arrived. I think a lot of people are equating ST sales with players on the pitch.
