RoystonFoote'snephew
Yet another player that I remember from my youth has signed on for Celestial FC at Heaven Stadium. David Armstrong played over 400 times for Middlesbrough and was an important player in Jack Charlton's Division 2 (Championship) winning team. 67 is too soon to be leaving us. RIP David and condolences to family, friends and football fans of a certain age everywhere. 2 2 2

Good Saints team in his era too.

GrahamC
Really top player who set an incredible record for consecutive games at Boro. Always looked older because he lost his hair young, was shocked to discover that he was only 67 when he died. RIP.
Ska Junkie
Very cultured player as I remember him in the days when a tackle was a tackle. 67 is too young. God bless David, R.I.P.
