I think we've played pretty well in that first half, although I've been surprised at how high our back line has been. Two bad mistakes by Naismith, but Conway and Dasilva (or was it Wells?) missed guilt-edged chances too. Norwich look to be playing well within themselves, mind. 2-0 is often a precarious lead, that next goal was always going to be crucial. Game on.

First half thoughts

Strangely subdued half and atmosphere.

Two moments of shocking school-boy football/defending from us results in two goals being gifted. Other than that they haven’t threatened our goal.

We are certainly way-off our recent performances in terms of quality and pace. Sykes has found lots of space wide on the right his distribution has however been variable.

We have edged possession and Wells and then DaSilva could have scored with decent chances. TC gets a goal, from nowhere, on the cusp of half-time, to put us back in the game. Clearly, the next goal is crucial.
