Steve Bruce sacked.

Nothing like a manager sacking to spur a team into form. West Brom a week Tuesday doesn't feel so winnable anymore.

You’d imagine that’s Bruce done now. He’s not going to drop to the leagues below and he’s managed most of the championship already. Retirement beckons.

I dunno, his name is probably enough to get some foreign gig somewhere for one final payday.

you might want to consider what that might do to our FFP position

Perhaps when the 2021-22 consolidated accounts are out, the penny might drop with the poster and those who are clamouring for change in general and disregarding this side.

Nigel Pearson is now the 2nd oldest manager in the top 4 divisions (behind only Coleman at Accrington).
Only Alan Devonshire and GJ in the National League are older too.

Young man’s game………

You're missing a few old people David Moyes is 59 as well few months older, &  Steve Evans @ Stevenage turns 60 this month ;) he's not quite ready to peg it.

I wouldnt have thought it was winnable anyway the state we're in....

Yeah, we're finding these "winnable" games difficult at the moment.  Preston's in the "drawable" game I would wager, if they have an off night.

Considering his regular employments and pay offs , I’d love to know what his average annual income would be over the last 10-15 years , probably more than Klopp or Pep

Clever strategy really

Steve knows what he's doing, canny lad.
