He maybe right, maybe wrong but it's not a take I've seen elsewhere. I heard Potter say in an interview sometime before the game that the timing wasn't great for Brighton - obviously as it was mid-season, but he can't choose when opportunities come his way. After Tony Pulis left us for a "bigger" club ie more money (Portsmouth) part way through the season he would have a plenty of abuse at AG had he returned the same year.
