Northern Red
Based on how this usually goes, I'd be willing to bet my mortgage on the person responsible being foreign and Akpom's goal having ruined an acca.

italian dave
Good on Boro for taking it further. Is that what we have to expect of Twitter now?

Sadly been a feature even before that **** Musk got involved. As has already been said nearly always someone who has had their bet ruined, not that this excuses it for a second. Ronnie Sinclair
If I had Musk’s money, I’d buy Twitter to close it down, the source of many of society’s ills and we’d be better off with it gone
cidered abroad
Whoever did it is a rather sad person who isn't worthy of belonging to the human race.

It has always been this way on Twitter unfortunately. Why they can't introduce filters I don't know.

Because allowing as much of a free for all as they can get away with makes them lots of money.
Silvio Dante
Looked at the profile of the tweeter and it’s bizarre. 600 tweets and barely on Twitter for two weeks. User name suggests bot but it’s too targeted at certain teams - and the vitriol seems to be at Boro rather than from us (if that makes sense). My money is on a racist, probably previously banned, Boro fan. Who’s a *****.

Wanderingred
How on earth could Twitter say that post doesn’t go against their guidelines? It’s disgusting.

It does rather call into question Musk's claim that Twitter's moderation policies are unchanged doesn't it?

Yeah, Twitter was a lovely hate and racist free place a few weeks ago. Hopefully Musk runs in into the ground and it's gone for good. Port Said Red
12 minutes ago, MarcusX said: Now? It's a horrible place, I have never had an account, but I get led there by certain topics and that's the most annoying thing. Every news organisation and media outlet has a presence there and often there is content that is exclusive to those who use it. It would go the way of MSN Messenger or My Space if it didn't receive so much free exposure and publicity. If sports team feel that strongly about abuse on there, then they should remove their official accounts.
