England are one of the top 5/10 international teams in the world whereas BC settle for bottom half, just about escaping being dragged into relegation fights within the championship and are quite comfortable with that, so no… no comparison at all.

I've always thought there were such similarities in the frustrations of supporting both City & England. So much so, that it is uncanny at times - especially considering the gulf in quality between the 2 - but the same old, failings & short comings in so many ways.

All I know is, in terms of underachievement, unfulfilled potential and crushing disappointment, being a City and England fan must be one of the worst club/country combinations imaginable.

I think fans make too much out of us being rubbish. We’re not bad luck, we’re just a normal football club with ups and downs. I bet every fan base feel the same about their clubs. We’re not ‘special’.
