Skys fixture list has been announced for the new year games up until 14th Feb. Only have one feature on the list, the Millwall game on thursday on the red button. Am I wrong to think we have only had 2 games on mainstream Sky when higher end clubs (watford, norwich, middlesbrough etc) have had tens of them? Bit ridiculous really

Not really, given the way we are playing!

It's a commercial TV station that needs the ratings for Ad revenue, unless we are promotion chasers or a big name then we are not going to be great for the ratings, so not a draw for advertisers, look at how many time Villa, Leeds and Florist were picked as Sky games when they were in the Championship. That said unless we are playing Cardiff we always tend to be shit on Sky

Not sure if it's still the case, but the contract used to be for a minimum of 2 home games per season for each club be shown (not including red button).

Don't think there is a minimum fixture amount, its all about the pull of team, and we just are not anywhere near box office in this division. We don't pull in any neutrals, whereas I would've watched Fulham or Brentford or Leeds years gone by.

Cardiff and Sheff Utd have been the only two games this season, both home.

Never quite know why we are so unattractive to Sky given we have a top third fanbase. I guess the neutrals would rather watch a traditional name like Blackburn despite less of their actual fans watching.

From a tv perspective you would think that we would be attractive as our games guarantee goals... ..well for whoever plays us it guarantees goals :laugh:
