Parking at Ashton Gate stadium

What is the free parking time at Ashton Gate stadium if you are going into the shop or maybe grabbing a coffee after? Do you collect a ticket on the way in and pay at machine?? What do you do if barriers are up just drive in and out when finished??

Our main stadium car park (referred to as the Winterstoke Road Car Park) is accessible from Wedlock Way / Winterstoke Road. It is a pay and display car park operated by Pay-By-Phone. The following parking charges apply on non-matchdays and spaces are available on a first come first serve basis:

30 minutes free stay
Up to 2 hours £4.00
Up to 3 hours £6.00
Up to 4 hours £8.00
Up to 6 hours £10.00

Often the barriers are up, on none - matchday,  if not the first hour is free,, as long as you're visiting the coffee shop or sports store,

There is no barrier anymore! It's all done by camera, first 20 mins free that's it

20 mins? That’s all you get if you are using shop. That will soon go once you look around the shop with the kids. Wow I wonder why the barrier had gone.

if in doubt use just park.......just park in halfords car park 50 yards away......

I parked, looked round the whole shop, and still had 28 mins left of my free parking
