Topper 123 Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 It’s nice to see this group of players seem to be bonding well and at last have resolve and togetherness needed to battle out points needed to push us up the table , long may it last COYR 1 1 Quote

MelksRed Posted January 15, 2023 Posted January 15, 2023 Sometimes the dawning realisation that the time is now and they are the people to effect something is critical in the development of strong bonds and positive team culture....resilience, professionalism, motivation all key. Will we constantly move in the right direction....no, its like walking home drunk...one step forward to steps back....we've seen the potential of this team....clinical in front of goal and defiant in defence. Yes there are a few areas to work on.....this will come in time. The transfer window is halfway through....no outgoing results in no incoming....its going to be an emotional roller coaster for the next few months as we try to retain Championship status. We have the players to do it.....they need the belief in themselves to realise their potential. Possibly too soon to talk about the green shoots of recovery, but they have had a taste of the possible. COYRs Quote

We are good enough, we do have the players. Now it's the season long problem of constituency. Do it each and every game. The remainder of transfer window will be interesting. But for first time in a while really enjoyed the game. And had brief chats with Geoff Merrick and Gerry Sweeney which was lovely to see and have good words with two of the team when I first stood in the East end. COYR Quote
