Alessandro
Well it’s one of those, how haven’t we scored? kind of half’s. At times wave after wave of attacks for us with Huddersfield trying to Warnock us out the game, catch us on the break but can’t make any passes stick, so we just keep coming back. Bell back on the left (thank you for listening Nige) with another late near post run flicked probably the best chance over the bar - one of those chances that flashes quickly and you’d say ‘should have hit the target’ but also ‘what a goal’ had it gone in. What followed was a raft of chances, Sykes far post header from Scott cross scrambled away - another corner (Scott whipping in again) nodded on to Pring whose header was parried into King’s path, and lunging for it for his feet mixed up and side footed a very good chance wide. Scott slashed at a volleyed chance. Wells so much better in that central role linking excellently at times and providing options. Ref a topic of debate again with questionable decisions for both teams and serious inconsistency with free kicks and bookings with a filthy Huddersfield too often allowed to attempt to kick Scott and James out of the game. They’re absolutely there for the taking, but really hoping our inability to score from open play recently doesn’t come back to haunt us here. 3 Quote Link to comment

Lew-T
Much better side. Lacking a bit of quality with the final ball though. Quote Link to comment
Curr Avon
Half-time and the match stats are slightly in our favour... Quote Link to comment

We've had 4 really good chances; Bell's & King's chances really bad misses. Bell is struggling now, I'd swap him out for Mehmeti at HT but NP normally resists any changes until the 60 minute mark. MarcusX
Scott not been at his best tonight, Cam needs to stop with the long balls and it’s been a little shaky at times - but it’s a new back line in fairness. We should have had a pen, they may have had a shout but didn’t look it. Definitrlt the better team but we need to do better in front of goal. Bell? Should have scored. Want Mehmeti on as soon as possible Quote Link to comment

cityexile
Been a while since I have seen us dominate a half so completely, yet here we are at 0-0. One of those where you got to sense we are going to end up getting mugged. Having said that we have played well. Huddersfield not had a sniff bar a pen shout. Quote Link to comment
Frenchay Red
I just hope we don't regret not taking at least one of those chances we had Quote Link to comment

real_bristol
Watched all the 1st half on RTV. Not bad given the circumstances and Colin, could be worse, they’re probably gonna get a player sent off. We need to switch it quicker and shoot, test the effing keeper. Toe punts are underrated. Know what you’re getting with Warnock. The ball is rarely in play, his team commits foul and foul and plays the percentages. Prehistoric shit. Quote Link to comment

Red_Alligator
We certainly need a breakthrough early in the second half. Some half time changes perhaps? Quote Link to comment

deadredfred
Surely they can’t be any worse second half? Imagine being a pro and being asked to play Warnock ball. I’d rather be relegated with my conscience intact Quote Link to comment

winsaw
We are playing well, I just worry that we are going to be maid to pay for not taking a couple of really good chances, think the midfield looks much better tonight than at the weekend just need a bit of luck in front of goal 1 Quote Link to comment
Roadrunner
Taylor Moore starting again for Shrewsbury, getting alot of playing time in div 1. I guess he will be gone in the summer or will he get another year. Quote Link to comment
Daniro
worrying that we can't seem to score - and that the last time we scored in open play was Atkinson against Wigan on four matches ago Quote Link to comment
Dan Robin
Monologue by City, except for a few minutes: overall good play and many chances (what a miss by King!)for us, almost nothing for them, who were often rude. We should have had a clear pen, but we risked too with Dasilva. Weimann or Mehmeti in the second half? Quote Link to comment
