Question

Jerry,

Thanks for the earlier answer - it’s disappointing as under the prior scheme, childrens points/credits were transferred to the parents account (example here credit for free shirt transferred over and parent could use it but just pay for personalisation). However, it is what it is.

Notwithstanding that, something is troubling me. If children have to have their own account with “credit” of points and choose to use those points for rewards (such as toys, pennants etc) then I think that’s fine. However, using points which could otherwise be traded to get physical goods to instead enter a prize draw could reasonably be classed as “gambling”.

Are we on safe grounds here with the gambling commission in letting minors choose to enter prize draws on this basis?

Thanks
